FAQ

Q: The front page of your site had listed the manufacturers under categories to search for products by manufacturer. Also, if you used the search pulldown menu (the field with "All Products" in it) at the top of the page. Manufacturers are no longer listed either way. How can I search by manufacturer?
A: On the front page under the list of categories we added a Link "Advanced Search" that brings up a form that allows you to search by manufacturer or Product Name. This same form can also be accessed from the Search link at the bottom of every page.

Q: How do we get to your locations?
A: Throughout our web site, we have linked our addresses so that they will bring up a map image showing you our location. You can get turn by turn driving directions from these links. As an example here are the instructions to drive from our show room to our warehouse:

  1. Start at 231 E 33RD ST, NEW YORK
  2. go < 0.1 mi Turn Right on 3RD AVE
  3. go 0.1 mi. Turn Right on E 34TH ST
  4. go 0.4 mi. E 34TH ST becomes E 34TH ST EXT
  5. go < 0.1 mi5.Turn Left on FDR DR SERVICE RD E
  6. go 0.1 mi. Take ramp onto FDR DRIVE N
  7. go 4.6 mi. Take exit #18/WILLIS AVE BR onto WILLIS AVE BRG toward DEEGAN EXPWY
  8. go 0.4 mi. WILLIS AVE BRG becomes WILLIS AVE
  9. go 0.2 mi. Take ramp toward BRUCKNER BLVD

Q: How come the description of a product indicates a specific number of holes for a sink, but the picture does not show that number of holes.
A: We sell products in their original packing and do not open the packaging to photograph the item. We use the pictures provided by the manufacturers. These pictures are not always provided in ALL the variations that they prepare and ship their items.

Q: Why doesn’t the Product Category list appear on each page the way they appear on the right hand side of the Home Page?
A: There are two fields at the top of the page. The first field is a pull down menu that has default of "All Products" this is a list of the main categories. The sub-categories that appear on the Home Page are not included in this list.

Q: What is the purpose of the blank field at the top of the page after "All Products" and before the "Go" symbol?
A: This field is used to enter keywords to help find products in our catalog. This field can be left blank.

Q: Why the description of a product indicates a specific color, but the picture does not show that color.
A: We sell products in their original packing and do not open the packaging to photograph the item. We use the pictures provided by the manufacturers. These pictures are not always provided in ALL the colors that they manufacture red the item in.

Here is a Color Chart to give you an idea. Please understand that colors are dependant on many variables and are different for each meium (magazine, book, TV, PC monitor, etc) that handles them and dye lots can vary over time.

Q: Many of the pictures for sinks and tubs have faucets, accessories and other trim, but you do not sell them this way. Why not?
A: We use the pictures provided by the manufacturers. These pictures are suggestions by the manufacturer of a complete fixture and these are not intended to indicate how an item is sold. This is a standard practice in this industry.

Q: How can I see a larger picture of the items than what is shown in the catalog?
A: In the catalog, you have a Bolded Product Name followed by a brief description. If you click on the Product Name or the product picture, you will get a larger description with that same thumbnail picture. If you now click on the product picture, you will receive a larger picture.

Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

Q: How do subscribers to your Newsletter edit their email address and interests?
A: A current subscriber can use the signup box on our website or the newsletter itself to update mailing information and interests.

  1. Enter the email address in the signup box and click GO. The Registration page displays and confirms that the address is in our mailing list.
  2. Click Submit to have us send the email address an "Update Profile" email.
  3. After receiving the email in your inbox. Click the link and an editable "Registration" page displays.
  4. Edit your email address, contact information, and/or interest categories.
  5. Click Submit to save changes.

Note If the subscriber has already changed addresses and no longer has access to the previous address, we recommend that they signup with the new address. We will be notified that the old address is "non-existent" and we will remove it.
